"Little Sparrow Snowdrop Girl"
Little Sparrow with her Snowdrop flower is sure to warm your heart on a chilly spring morning! Sparrow is created by wrapping roving wool over a cotton wrapped wire armature. Her wee head is designed in the Waldorf tradition using a simple wool ball with hair made of tiny lamb locks. Her cloths are fashioned from the softest of wool sweater bits including a gathered skirt and cap. The teeny sweater will be crocheted ahead of time by one of my talented students! Little buttons will be added! If there is time I will teach the making of the Snowdrop flower fashioned from crepe paper. Otherwise one will be created ahead of time. This is a level two class meaning some prior needle felting is most useful. Simple sewing for cap and skirt will be taught as well.
